Infusion Add-Ons

In addition to iron infusions, which are covered under your insurance, we offer cash pay IV add-ons. If you struggle with symptoms of anemia including exhaustion, tiredness, weakness or difficulty concentrating, Dr. Housholder has an infusion blend specifically for patients struggling with iron deficiency anemia. Simply request this add-on during your appointment!

Cancellation Fees: If you need to reschedule, we ask that you let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid a $20 cancellation or no-show fee.  

Commercial Insurance: You will be billed for your visit with us approximately 8 weeks after your appointment. This is the time it takes for your insurance to process your claim and respond to tell us how much you will owe. You will get a bill from us if you haven't met your deductible, have coinsurance or if your insurance denies any portion of your claim.  

Illness Policy: It can be devastating for our HG patients to contract contagious illnesses such as flu, covid or the stomach bug. Therefore, if you’ve had fever, chills, cold symptoms or viral stomach bug symptoms, please refrain from making an appointment in our clinic until your contagious symptoms pass. HG symptoms are relentless and last for weeks and months. If you’ve only been throwing up a day or two, you likely have the stomach bug.

Appointment times: Please allow 2-3 hours for your first treatment. Please see What to Expect and our Policies prior to booking an appointment.

Iron Infusion Hours: We schedule iron infusion appointments M-F between 9am-1pm.

Insurance: For iron infusions we take Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid of Alabama.We are not a provider in BCBS’s High Performance Plan.
