In patients with severe, refractory hyperemesis gravidarum, two off label medications were associated with rapid and clinically meaningful reductions in nausea, vomiting, and weight loss.

Dr. Housholder works in tandem with OBGYNs throughout the United States to treat patients with severe hyperemesis gravidarum. If you’d like your patient to have a consult, they’ll need a second opinion consult form faxed to our clinic at 205-549-8711. Dr. Housholder will evaluate the patient and fax you treatment recommendations. Our patients report satisfaction of less than 4/10 for HG care with prior pregnancies, and greater than 9/10 with our care. They also have 15% higher satisfaction with their OBs when they are referred to us for HG care.
