Are you anemic? We offer iron infusions at our clinic! Up to ⅓ of pregnancies are iron deficient. Having sufficient iron stores is critical for baby’s development.

There are many vitamins important in pregnancy including Folic Acid, Magesium, B12, Thiamine and Calcium, which can infused via IV in our clinic.

If you suffer from anemia, there’s more we can do!

New Patients:

1) Text “new patient iron infusion” to our clinic at 205-772-9595.

2) We need your labs: Have your provider fax us your iron panel labs at 205-549-8711. If your provider uses a patient portal, you can also login and download the labs there and send them to us on our HIPPA compliant app, Spruce.

2) We will send you intake paperwork and a link to download our patient app, Spruce.

3) We will walk you through the steps needed to have insurance cover your iron infusion, as well as the costs associated with the treatment. If this all works for you, we will schedule your first telehealth appointment to discuss how many infusions you need.

All of the above usually takes about a week to process.

Insurance for iron infusions: Due to the recent increase in the cost of iron, we are only able to accept certain insurance providers for iron infusions.

We are in network with BCBS*, Viva, and Tricare. Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide iron infusions for patients with Medicaid (even as secondary), Aetna, Cigna, or Multiplan at this time.

*EXCEPT the BCBS ‘High Performance Plan’. That particular plan will not cover any of the cost of your infusion at our clinic. Performance plan patients will be required to pay 100% of the cost of the infusion, upfront. Text us at 205-772-9595 if you have any questions!

While you’re at our clinic receiving an iron infusion, you can add additional blood building vitamins into your infusion.

Providers:

Fax us your patient’s facesheet and labs to 205-549-8711, and we’ll text them to schedule their iron infusion.
